Rain gauge with built-in RS-A/D converter (1.0mm only) 


1] WDC-2000 : Rain gauge with built-in RS-A/D converter (1.0mm only).
In parallel with the output signal, it can be output as a separate digital signal (BCD), directly connected to communication equipment, and transmitted.

① Setting the route of observation equipment
 Among the observation equipment operated by solar cells, basic equipment (measuring, recording, BCD)
 other than communication equipment is operated as equipment operated independently in independent functions
 such as “non-powered” or “battery type”. By preventing mutual interference, preparing for battery and
 electronic errors, preventing data loss, and meeting the amount of reserve power, it should be the best

Outline
 The foundation of traditional equipment powered by solar batteries starts with the performance of

 with an advanced measurement method that perfectly supports the concerns.

Operating principle
 This device collects water through a water inlet with a diameter of 20cm, and when the amount in the
 measuring cup (tipping bucket) is 31.4 cc (1 mm), 1 pulse is generated by the reed switch of the sensor,
 recording, and the A/D converter gear by the falling force of the drained water is driven by 1 Bit (1mm),
 DIGITAL signal is provided directly to communication equipment as BCD code, so even if electromagnetic
 error is induced, measurement error does not occur, so panel operation value can be continuously observed,
 and DATA display is transparent. ※ There is no need to reset the measured value panel display as
 data fragmentation does not occur. Operate in parallel when necessary.

④ Function
 Reed switch in RS-A/D Converter converts physical analog rotation change into electrical code.
 Therefore, all displacement values that change during rotation are converted into digital signals
 by the converter without power. These change signals (BCD) are input as measured values or
 control values for computer control, display, and output equipment of various systems,
 and the 100m measurement accuracy has a reliability of 99.99%.

⑤ Characteristic
 1) Since the contact on the output side is a reed switch, the contact defect is very small and the life is long.
 2) Since the output side is optimally combined with the rotating part of the system,
 it is possible to select from various output codes.
 3) In the case of displaying error codes, checking bits are provided in each number (0 to 9)
 4) Busy signals are provided so there is no mistake in signal reading during switch operation.
 5) There is no need for a power supply for coding as commercial double brush switch circuitry is not required.
 6) It has a simple small appearance.
